One week from today, we will finally be competing in our first USEF recognized competition! Ride times for the PVDA show at Loch Moy were posted yesterday, and we ride in front of two different judges, one for Training 1 at 1:29, another for Training 2 at 3:38. I’ll be interested to see how the scores compare between judges, and where they put us against the others riding in the division.
I’m also thrilled with our ride times. Most people might not be, with midday in August, but for me, it means I get to sleep past sunrise, get the horse all braided up, and get to show, with minimal exhaustion. I think that should help me ride better, and hopefully will make me more relaxed so that Cally can shine her brightest too.
